Have a Pool at Your Home? Here's a Must-Read Safety Checklist to Protect Kids!

Some people have their own pool or have neighbors with one. While this is a great way to cool off and be active in warm weather, pools can be dangerous. Keep these tips in mind to protect your children and other's.

  • A home pool must have a 4-foot fence around the entire pool and self-locking gate.
  • Never leave children in or near the pool unattended.
  • Consider having a pool safety kit nearby that includes a first-aid kit, pair of scissors to cut hair or clothing that might be entangled, a charged phone to call 911 and a floatation device.

You can never be too safe when kids are around water.
